Blonde Ray (Raja brachyura), is well distributed throughout European waters, generally at depths up to 100 metres, this ray feeds on crustaceans, worms and small fish.
Fish has a relatively short snout, and corners of pectoral fins almost right-angled. In adult fish the whole back area may be prickled, less so in younger fish. Large eyes, and tail bears a row of larges spines centrally.
Back light brown with creamy white blothes, and dense dark spots extending to the edge of the fins. White ventrally.
