Ling, blue ( molva dipterygia dipterygia) is a deep water species normally found between 400 –550 metres, and spawning at the greater depth. Slow growing taking 5-6 years to reach maturity. Small scale commercially fished in Scandinavia / Iceland.
Colouration – Greeny brown above, lighter ventrally with pale fin edges.
