The dolphinfish (coryphaenia hippurus) is one of the most strikingly coloured fish in salt water. The male fish will have a tall blunt head whilst the female will be more streamlined. These fish are very striking when chasing prey through the water.
Dolphinfish are renound for being the great wanderers of the sea. They have large migration paths, you can normally find them near floating objects as these attract smaler prey fish.
