Pink Dentex ( Dentax Gibbosus) is commonest in southern European waters, although nowhere abundant, it is a valued food fish. Found usually in small schools over rocky ground, more often in deeper water. A predatory species on fish and cephalapods.
Predominantly bluish silver with paler sides and small blue spots. Fins pink.
