Jelly Catfish anarhichas denticlatus
is an Arctic species of catfish common in the Norwegian sea and northwards. Lives over silty bottoms feeding on crustaceans, sea urchins and brittle stars. Flesh watery and of little food value.
Flesh feels soft (jelly like) when handled, colouration dark grey-brown or chocolate with faint stripes.
