Anglers were taken by Coach to South Mole or Queensway Quay Marina who had kindly given permission for the boats to moor and pick up and return anglers going to the detached moles. ![]() Four Man Team Winners On Saturday day two fishing commenced from ll am to 4 pm, with little wind and bright sunshine it was obvious that sun-tanning oil would be needed to avoid being burnt by the sun. Most of the fish caught were bream and mullet with Janet Sargent of England catching a sizeable Trigger Fish. On Sunday day three fishing was from 9.30.am to 2.30.pm: the weather continued to shine for the Anglers. After the first two days the South Mole was providing the best bags of fish mainly Mullet and Bream with plenty of activity for the stewards with the landing nets. The fishing was divided into five zones, three on the Detached Mole, and the other two on the South Mole where special platforms had been constructed. Each steward had to monitor three anglers, measure the fish, give the first points and record each Angler's scorecard and return the fish alive. ![]() National Team Winners - Gibraltar-A The Prizes were presented at the Caleta Palace Hotel (Headquarters Hotel) by the Minister Mr Fabian Vinet, with E.F.S.A.
